Our family table
Made for family life.
I’m Sam Jones, and HaganEats is where I’m gathering the recipes our family wants to keep close: familiar dinners, comforting favourites and good things worth making again.
Around our table
Good food has to fit real life.
Family cooking is rarely one perfect meal at one perfect time. HaganEats is shaped around the way we actually eat: practical on busy days, generous when there is time and welcoming to the whole table.
- Weeknights count.
- Quick suppers and familiar ingredients matter just as much as the dishes that take all afternoon.
- Everyone gets a seat.
- The collection leans towards food that grown-ups and little ones can enjoy together, with room to make a dish your own.
- Keep the good ones.
- The best recipes become part of family life. This is a place to keep them useful, easy to find and ready for next time.
Where it began
From a well-used collection.
HaganEats began with recipe cards, notes and cookbooks gathered over the years. Some hold everyday staples; others are simply dishes that looked too good to lose among the pages.
Bringing them together here gives our family one dependable place to find what to cook next. The hope is that your family finds a few keepers here too.
Every recipe is laid out to be cooked from, with ingredients and method kept easy to reach. See the everyday basics in the HaganEats pantry.
